Mr. Cannestra (tcannestra@ignitegroup.com) is a Principal with IGNITE Group.

Since joining the IGNITE Group in 2000, Mr. Cannestra focused his efforts on the software industry, and emerging technologies in the supply chain industry. Prior to joining IGNITE, he spent five years as a business consultant with Ernst & Young Consulting (now Cap Gemini Ernst & Young), rising to the position of Senior Manager. His areas of expertise while at E&Y Consulting included supply chain management for the High Tech industry including B2B marketplaces, knowledge management, and e-Commerce platforms. Towards the end of his stay with E&Y Consulting, Mr. Cannestra worked within the company's venture group identifying opportunities for investment. Mr. Cannestra lived in Japan for 2 years, working for the auto parts manufacturer, Mannoh Kogyo, designing and developing computer programs for the company.

Mr. Cannestra received a B.A. degree in International Political Economy from UC Berkeley, and an M.B.A. with a Management of Technology (MOT) Certificate from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Mr. Cannestra currently serves on the Board of Directors of Gearworks, Inc., Cymbet Corp., and Perquest.
